Fanboys and gadget geeks everywhere, get ready.
On 9 September Apple is widely expected to introduce its next batch of shiny tech products at an event in Cupertino, California.
The rumour mill is in overdrive, with analysts predicting two new iPhone models with larger screens and maybe even a glimpse of the fabled iWatch.
Why should you care?
Well, apart from the fact that lots of people love their products, Apple are a corporate powerhouse and make a phenomenal amount of money.
Slate.com put together the below graphs based on Apple’s latest earnings figures, which compare individual Apple products to other tech companies.
If the iPhone were a business by itself, it would bring in as much revenue as McDonalds and Coca-Cola combined, and dwarf the revenue of search giant Google.
If the iPad left the nest it would be a business as big as Yahoo, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Groupon and Tesla put together.
So there you have it; Apple is kind of a big deal.
