Here Are the Highest Paid Professions in Every Australian State

Well if you’re seriously considering changing careers for a handsome salary, studying medicine should be at the top of your list.

The ATO’s annual Taxation Statistics report has shown the top 10 highest paying professions from each state based on the average taxable income. Surgeons topped the list for every state, averaging a salary of between $331,867 and $279,022. Not very much bad at all.
